And just FYI, I'm working on modularizing the entire codebase on the 2.0-Alpha branch but it isn't quite ready yet. Talking with SL2 directly might alleviate the need for RS485 for those who do have it. It should prompt you to open ScreenLogic on your iPhone.

Choose to install the ScreenLogic Apple Watch app (using the regular Apple 'Watch' app) Start ScreenLogic on your Apple Watch. Connect to your pool REMOTELY and then save and rename that connection as 'Erwins Pool' or similar. Both units allow us to connect to the unit remotely or locally via the intellichem commercial app, but neither location shows any results, history, or readings. Reinstall ScreenLogic from the App Store.

So, yes for some it could be a direct replacement, but this goes way beyond just duplicating the screen logic interface. Installed two IntelliChem commercial units.

And on the integration side we are extending communications to talk with Home Automation platforms for bi-directional control. Screenlogic actually connects two ways, one is a 'local' where it broadcast on your lan to find the protocol adapter, the other is 'remote' where you setup an account in the protocol adapter setup and it connects to a relay server run by either pentair or homelogic, not sure which, then the screenlogic software also connects to the relay server. They use the app for controlling pumps standalone, controlling chlorinators, interfacing with the controllers (intellicom/intellitouch) without a ScreenLogic. Just for context, most of the people that have found use for this app don't have the ScreenLogic2 controller.

I personally have the ScreenLogic2, but wasn't able to figure out how to communicate with it over IP. As a disclaimer, I have only implemented a handful of the message types since they encompass all the functionality I am interested in, but I will post the protocol for the remainder for those who are interested. It doesn't do anything fancy like run a web interface, but if you already have the web interface written, the communications portion could function as a drop in replacement for the RS484 message sending. If there is interest, I will push to github this coming weekend some basic code I have written for doing so and will write a document detailing the protocol. It does not link all circuits, feature circuits and circuit groups (from memory, the documentation claims it links in circuits and in reality, it only links in circuit groups). There is no need for an additional device connected to the Intellitouch controller if your ultimate goal is IP control. No access to view or change the vacation setting (which is the best thing about the new Intellicenter - IMHO). I wanted to comment that if you have the screenlogic2 (I am not sure how/if the original screenlogic differs), you can communicate directly with the screenlogic device over IP. I came across this and I see that you have written something to communicate over the RS484 connection to the Intellitouch controller.
